The design of the apical section of the implant is such that it is possible to place it in thin bone ridges as it expands the bone by itself. This is a feature of the Osteo-Ti system that makes it the choice of implant system for difficult cases by many experts in the field.

The shape is also self cutting and self-tapping so the implant acts as its own drill, a futher time saving design feature, therefore minimal site preparation is needed. This means that once the implant site has been prepared using either drilling or in many cases site forming, the implant can be placed easily.

Osteo-Ti has always held the principle of keeping things simple, why use a motor or highly complicated piece of kit when you have far more dexterity, control  and precision  using a hand tool? When placing the implant will create its own threads, compacts the bone, and drills itself into position, making the system extremely user friendly.
